Audi TT Review
The debut of the concept cars in 1995 and, finally, the production reality, Audi TT has been one of the most dramatic vehicles will be in the mid - to late 1990s. Its organic and symmetrically-called front and rear profiles contrast to the board of the slopes to create something to consider, unlike Audi has always done before. Meanwhile, the TT in a good performance interior leave visible traces of a car, a VW Golf modest roots. Named after a Tourist Trophy motorsports event held in the Isle of Man (the predecessor Audi brand competing), Audi TT sports car is not, it is not sport coupe or roadster. In fact, front - or all-wheel drive TT has two GT. However, the coupe pair of seats in the back, but best left to small children or used as a soft package shelf. TT has a low slung, tandem look and feel of a sports car, but a dynamic personality as a luxury sports coupe. Regardless of the year, and the tail, TT is respectably fast, but with some first-generation version weighs more than 3,600 pounds and suspension settings that provide comfort for all-out touring side skill, it would not be the first choice for hard-core fans. These fanatical search harder edges of the driving experience, it would be better, more carefully focused sports cars. Most consumers, however, who want a sports coupe or roadster with a vigorous and strong focus on the style should be more than happy Audi TT. Current current Audi TT Audi TT was established in 2008 and is the second generation model. Although a little more than before, the new TT is not to stray too far from eternal original lines. The overall look, while lines of clear and nose Audi has now signed a lattice frame. Again, two trim levels : 2.0T (200-horsepower turbocharged four with front-wheel drive) and 3.2 Quattro (250 hp V6 with all-wheel drive) -- offering a choice hatchback coupe and roadster body. Selecting transmission with six speed manual and six-speed S-tronic two consecutive clutch transmission, which provides ease with automatic quick response manual. (Previously, S game called Direct Shift conditioners, or PACs.) Standard equipment includes shows 2.0T leather seats, CD player and alloy wheels with chairs run flat wheel. 3.2 Quattro lobby windows with power / heated front seats, power for the soft top roadster (a manual 2.0T roadster), and a CD change. Notable options navigation system, xenon headlamps, active suspension (with magnetic shock absorbers), rear park assist and the S-line package, which includes inch wheels and body styling accents. While more and more as the first Audi TT, the latest version is easier (almost 200 pounds if roadster), the increased use of aluminum in the body. On the road, 2.0T felt more dynamic through a set of curves, as less weight on the front tires and 3.2 Quattro provides more expressive than on straightaways, along with more aggressive engine and the exhaust sound. Audi claims 0-60-mph sprint at the V6 takes just 5.7 seconds, and the turbo four will hit that speed in 6.2 seconds. 2.0T actually more athletic of the two, as it quickly to block four-cylinder engine turbocharger and light whooshing efforts rolling steering together deliver a strong athletic experience. However, the TT 2.0T is a front-wheel-drive car and still can not quite match the balance and feedback of a dedicated rear-drive sports car when pushed over the curvy road. Past models of Audi TT Introduced in 2000, and the model, initially available only hatchback coupe, first Audi TT resulted peppy 1.8-litre, 180 hp with a turbocharged inline-4. Buyers can choose either front - or all-wheel drive (Audi Quattro system). Five speed manual standard, and the six-speed manual is optional. Along with the low-slung, avant-garde design, TT boasted less unique interior, which has polished aluminum accents, installation and excellent finishing, and unfortunately, a few ergonomic shortcomings of the CD change of the driver's seat and climate control counterintuitive. After a twitchy widely known characteristics of early TTs, and the 225-horsepower roadster - Quattro version debut next year. In 2003 automatic transmission (six-speed) became available. But the biggest news for this generation came in 2004, with 250 horsepower 3.2-litre V6 and Audi excellent six-speed automanual box became available. The latter, called DSG, quickly led to a free-style manual gearchanges, where Ferrari in the F1 transmission shame. Audi TT had a touch before the end of 2006, the last year of this generation. Potential buyers should know that, although potentially fast in a straight line, the TT has never considered a true sports car because of its potentially heavy curb weight and stay there quietly. Nevertheless, TT should satisfy those who prize comfort, style and all-weather sports coupe or roadster.
